Call to order: By Joe @ 9:30 am.

Old Business: The ACC according to the Guidelines for Building requires a copy of Certificate of Occupancy, the Town and an “As Built Survey” from the builder before we complete and approve the final inspection.

**Letters sent to all owners. Five owners moved to the Board for action, four owners granted extensions.

 

Liaison Report:

·         Jack brought to the committee the acceptance and approval of new motor home language regarding the parking of these vehicles overnight on Carolina Shores properties.

·         The committee requested that Jack review the notification procedures regarding 2nd letters/hearings and the implementation of fines. It seems that many 2nd offenders of the same violations are not being dealt with in the proscribed manner stated in the DoR.

Other Business:

·         Several continuing properties are unkempt. First requested at last month’s meeting, Joe will ask the Board if they have any results from Legal regarding this matter.

·         The committee discussed at length the process of assessing fines for multiple violations of the same nature. Jack will meet with Joe to discuss on how to address this issue.

·         It was discussed that recently there have been installation of “Mini-split” A/c Heat units at some properties. It was agreed that this type of unit when installed needs to be screened. Any self-contained units, i.e. window or built in not requiring ductwork will be exempt. Joe will write up the language for Jack to present to the Board next week.
